We spent the morning in the cloud forest near Monteverde where we saw the respendent quetzal, a magnificant bird with a red breast and a long green tail, hummingbirds, and a sloth! We had lunch in Santa Elena, a nearby town, and the students settled into their classes in the afternoon.

Thank you Margaret for keeping us "posted". I appreciate hearing how the next 2 week adventure is going. Thanks also for taking time to be with Katie and the other students. Katie called briefly last night and is having a fabulous time already. Pam
